Stressed to the max? Yeah... that's keeping weight glued to your body.

Yesterday I talked about restricting calories and how it prevents weight loss. It's because your body is stressed out since you're not feeding her/him.

Cortisol is the stress hormone. You've probably heard that stress makes you gain weight. And if the stress of lockdown added the quarantine-15, you know what I'm talking about.

But, "just stress less. Take a chill pill," is crappy advice. It's much easier said than done.

Here are some things that actually will work to help you reduce stress and get the scale moving again:

Take a walk

Meditation

Breath work

Painting/coloring

Watching a funny movie

Puzzles

Listen to music

Dance

Go for a drive

Journal

Stretch

Workout

Get experimental in the kitchen

CONNECT - with a friend or family member

Bubble bath

These are free things that can reduce your stress!
